Finance & Accounting Transformation

We automate transactional finance and build predictive models that help the CFO's office make better, faster decisions.

Overview

The modern CFO cannot afford to only report on past performance. They need to anticipate market conditions and allocate capital with confidence. FA3's Finance and Accounting Transformation practice reshapes the financial core of the business, removing manual bottlenecks so finance teams can focus on strategic work.

We use automation (RPA, AI) to handle high-volume transactional tasks like AP/AR and month-end close. This frees financial staff to work as analysts rather than data entry operators, supported by real-time financial reporting.

What we do

  • Financial process automation: We implement RPA and intelligent document processing to automate invoice ingestion, reconciliations and journal entries, significantly reducing cycle times and manual error.
  • Target operating model (TOM) design: We redesign the structure of the finance function, setting up shared service centres (SSCs) and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for advanced analytics.
  • Advanced FP&A and predictive modelling: We replace static spreadsheet budgeting with dynamic, driver-based forecasting models powered by machine learning, enabling real-time scenario modelling and more confident capital allocation.
  • Enterprise performance management (EPM): We implement tier-one EPM systems (Oracle, Anaplan, SAP), integrating operational and financial data to give clear visibility into profitability at the product, customer and regional levels.

How we work

FA3 runs finance transformations with a strong focus on standardisation and speed. We address "shadow IT" and rogue spreadsheets head-on, putting proper data governance and architectural consistency in place across the whole financial environment.

By shifting the finance department's focus from historical reporting to predictive analytics, we help the CFO's office move from being a cost centre to a genuine contributor to business growth and valuation.
